Job Description: ProCare Therapy is excited to announce a unique opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated School Counselor to join our team on a contract basis in Buckeye, Arizona. This position offers the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing comprehensive counseling services to support their academic, social, and emotional well-being. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about helping students navigate the challenges they face and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address a variety of concerns, including academic difficulties, personal challenges, and social-emotional issues
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, needs, and interests, and develop personalized plans to support their growth and development
- Collaborate on a multi-disciplinary team to create a supportive network for students
- Offer crisis intervention and support to students in times of need
- Deliver classroom presentations and workshops on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and stress management
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or equivalent.
- Valid Arizona Department of Education certificate for School Counseling
- Obtain & maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
- A background in school counseling.
