School Counselor Needed in Mayville, WI

Start Date: 24/25 School Year
Caseload: 9th-12th Grade

Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our team in Mayville, WI. This is a full-time position for the upcoming 24/25 school year. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to students in grades 9th-12th, addressing academic, personal, and social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students
• Assist students in developing academic and career plans
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as necessary

Requirements:

• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
• Wisconsin DPI certification as a School Counselor
• Previous experience working with high school students preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
