School Certified Nurse - RN - Oak Forest, IL - 60452

  Transition (18-22 yrs old students with disabilities)
• Some students have high intensity (Gtubes, seizure action plan, students with diabetes). Others have limited need for school nursing support unless an injury or illness occurs at school. Students are split across two sites but the majority of the nursing needs are at main campus where both nurses are housed. At our "satellite" site our nurses oversee the main care but also collaborate with the on-site nurse for Braun, the other program housed in the same site. Program nurses collect and disseminate school-relevant health information and provide training  to student teams which include teachers, service providers, and para professionals. They work in conjunction with our CNAs who support student personal needs. 

Qualifications: 

• Must be licensed in the state of IL

• Previous experience in schools required, preferably in the last 2 years
