School Caseload - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Great Lakes, IL

ProCare Therapy is seeking a state of Illinois licensed COTA to work full time in schools around Great Lakes, IL area. Experience with school aged children providing therapy services, using goals and working with families and other therapy disciplines is needed. The COTA will be able to make their own schedule following the school day and be paid weekly every Friday with the option for medical insurance benefits. 

Job Details:

• full time, 37.5 hours a week 
• flexible weekly schedule 
• caseload: K-8, itinerant 3-4 schools
• mileage between sites reimbursed  
• weekly paychecks every Friday 

Qualifications: 

• state of Illinois license as a Occupational Therapist or COTA (assistant level) 
• experience with pediatrics or in schools prior 

Work Schedule: 

• full time 
• 37.5 hours, school schedule 

Responsibilities:

• Assisting Therapy Implementation: Aid occupational therapists in executing treatment plans designed to enhance clients' daily functioning.
• Hands-On Therapy Delivery: Administer therapeutic activities and exercises to clients to improve motor skills, cognition, and sensory processing.
• Monitoring Progress and Education: Monitor client progress, document observations, and educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercises for continued improvement.
