School Based RN/LVN Job Near Zilker, TX

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LVN to provide one-on-one nursing care and support to an elementary school student in Zilker, TX. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with the following schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, and Friday from 7:30am to 1pm.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one nursing care and support to an elementary school student
• Administer medications, oxygen therapy, and enteral feedings as prescribed by the student's physician
• Monitor and document vital signs, medications, and treatments
• Communicate effectively with the student, their family, and school staff
• Assist the student with activities of daily living, as needed
• Adhere to state and federal regulations related to nursing practice

Requirements:

• Current and valid RN or LVN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Experience with oxygen therapy and enteral feedings
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with children and adolescents
