School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - 1:1 Case

Duration: 2023-2024 School Year
Procare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a school-based 1:1 case in Nashua, NH. As an RN, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing comprehensive healthcare services within an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to a specific student in a 1:1 setting, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Assess the student's medical needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, perform medical procedures, and monitor vital signs as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, and other members of the school team to ensure coordinated care and support for the student.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding the student's healthcare needs and goals.
- Educate school staff on health-related matters and provide training as necessary.
- Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and relevant state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing is preferred.
- Knowledge of common pediatric medical conditions, disabilities, and healthcare procedures.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Contract Details:
- Employment will be contracted through Procare Therapy for the duration of the 2023-2024 school year.
- This is a full-time position, with hourly compensation.
