Procare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a school-based position in Estacada, OR. This position is a 1:1 case for a high school student, providing personalized healthcare services throughout the 2023-2024 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to the assigned high school student on a 1:1 basis.
• Assess the student's healthcare needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the student's healthcare team.
• Administer medication, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the student's healthcare provider.
• Monitor and document the student's health status, including vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist with managing medical emergencies and provide immediate first aid as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with the student, their family, teachers, and other school staff regarding the student's healthcare needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the school's interdisciplinary team to support the student's educational goals and overall well-being.
• Stay updated on best practices, current medical advancements, and legal requirements related to school nursing.

Requirements:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Oregon.
• Prior experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide quality healthcare services to students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in a school-based environment.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
