Procare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for a school-based position in San Bernardino, CA. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers the opportunity to work in a 1:1 case setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality healthcare services to students and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to a student in a school-based 1:1 setting.
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions as per the student's individualized healthcare plan.
• Monitor the student's health condition, vital signs, and any changes in medical status.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student.
• Document and maintain accurate health records and reports.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding the student's health status and any concerns or updates.

Qualifications:

• Valid California LVN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an LVN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
