School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Full-Time Hourly Contract

Procare Therapy is currently hiring an LVN for a school-based position in Los Angeles, California. This position is contracted and offers full-time hours. Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student in a school setting.
- Monitor the student's health condition and administer prescribed medications as needed.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
- Implement healthcare plans and interventions based on individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the student's well-being and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the school staff and Procare Therapy team.
Requirements:
- Valid and current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
