Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the 24/25 school year in Norridge, IL. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support to a student, including riding the bus with them. The RN will play a crucial role in ensuring the student's health and safety throughout the school day. Further details regarding the assignment will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience working as a nurse, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
• Willingness to provide 1:1 support to a student and ride the bus with them
• Knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and support to a student throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor the student's health status and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies
• Accompany the student on the bus and ensure their safety during transportation
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals regarding the student's health needs
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
• Follow all school policies and procedures related to student health and safety
