RN for 1:1 or General Duties For A School Near Arnold, CA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Arnold, CA. The RN will be responsible for conducting health assessments for students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), overseeing specialized health care plans, and training and supervising staff on healthcare procedures. The RN may also be responsible for providing general nursing duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Active California RN license
• BSN degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a school setting or working with children with special needs
• Knowledge of laws and regulations related to healthcare in schools, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments for students with IEPs
• Oversee specialized health care plans for students with medical needs
• Train and supervise staff on healthcare procedures
• Provide general nursing duties as needed
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and counselors, to support student success
• Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
