Remote School Psychologist Openings in New Jersey- Now and 24/25 SY

School Psychologist
Procare therapy is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team in New Jersey. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional well-being of students. This position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Full-Time: 40 hours/week
• Remote
• Start: ASAP- June 18th, 2024, 24/25 SY
• Caseload: 
  • PK to 8th graders
  • Handle roughly 40 cases (however, many have already had their annual review for the year)
  • District has the evaluations and protocols needed, would provide a computer, office, and more

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• New Jersey License for School Psychology
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Strong assessment, counseling, communication and interpersonal skills

Hourly Pay Rate:

• $45 - mid to upper $50s/hr 
  • Specific hourly pay rate is negotiable. Will be discussed further during hiring process, dependent on experience and background
