Job Description:

  1. Patient Care:

    • Assessing patient health problems and needs.
    • Developing and implementing nursing care plans.
    • Administering medications and treatments.
    • Observing and recording patient behavior.
    • Assisting with diagnostic tests and analyzing results.
    • Monitoring vital signs.
    • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  2. Coordination:

    • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and modify patient care plans.
    • Coordinating and communicating with other members of the healthcare team.
    • Ensuring continuity of care during transitions, such as admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  3. Documentation:

    • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records.
    • Recording patient histories and progress.
    • Documenting procedures and interventions performed.
  4. Education and Counseling:

    • Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
    • Providing counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
  5. Advocacy:

    • Advocating for patients' rights and preferences.
    • Acting as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.
  6. Professional Development:

    • Staying current with advancements in nursing practice, including attending workshops, conferences, and continuing education courses.
    • Pursuing opportunities for career advancement and specialization.
  7. Compliance and Safety:

    • Adhering to legal regulations and professional standards.
    • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
    • Following infection control procedures and protocols.
  8. Teamwork:

    • Collaborating with other nurses and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
    • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and discussions.
  9. Leadership and Supervision (for some roles):

    • Providing guidance and supervision to nursing assistants and other support staff.
    • Assuming leadership roles within the nursing unit or department.
  10. Quality Improvement:

    • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
    • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Position Requirements:

  1.  Valid Nursing Degree
  2. Home Health Aid Experience

Interview Process

  • 10–15-minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
