Part-Time Paraprofessional Openings

ProCare Therapy is seeking part-time paraprofessionals for a school district in Galt, CA! This position would be ideal if you are looking to pick up extra hours or build experience as a new graduate! Job details are listed below:

• Seeking to start February 29, 2024 - June 4, 2024
  • Renewal extension for summer and 2024-2025 school year is dependent upon performance
• Part-time (20 hrs/week)
  • School hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
• Preschool caseload
  • ASD population 
• Primary duties consist of the following:
  • Assist teacher and students with daily tasks 
  • Provide instruction as monitored by the teacher
  • Toileting as needed basis
  • Data keeping, clerical tasks, etc. as needed

• Must be comfortable with toileting and lifting/carrying students
• Previous paraprofessional experience is highly preferred
  • Or experience with special education youth
• Must be comfortable with obtaining First Aid/CPR Certificate within 6 months if hired

 

This position pays on an hourly scale

• Average rate of $23-26
