Contract Part Time Summer School Occupational Therapist
At ProCare, our mission is to encourage each child to confidently and proudly achieve his or her full potential. We are working with a school district in Las Vegas, NV that is looking to hire a contract occupational therapist for their summer school program.

Caseload Details: 

• Part time: 25-30 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
• Hours: 8:30 - 3:00
• July 8th, 2024 - August 16th, 2024
• Preschool caseload
• Ages: 3-5 years old
• 1 school site

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the OT to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and other areas related to occupational therapy.
• Participate in the development of individualized plans based on assessment results.
• Assist in implementing therapeutic activities and interventions to improve students' fine and gross motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to address specific needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, including assessment results, intervention plans, and session notes.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the educational team regarding students' occupational therapy needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into the overall education plan.

Requirements:

• Active New York OT license 
• Masters in Occupational Therapy
• CPR certification.
• New York DOE and DOI fingerprints
• Previous pediatric or school experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
• Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
