Paraprofessionals Needed In San Ysidro, CA

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to join our team in San Ysidro, CA. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs within educational settings. Your responsibilities may include assisting students with academic tasks, implementing behavior plans, providing one-on-one support, and facilitating student engagement in classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Assist students with academic tasks, including reading, writing, and math.
• Implement behavior management strategies and support students in developing appropriate social skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) or behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or associate's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students.

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a background check.
• Completion of CPR and first aid training may be required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
