ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Paraprofessional to join our team in Wheaton, IL. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students in a school setting. This position is contracted by ProCare Therapy, a leading provider of educational and healthcare staffing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of special education teachers.
• Provide support to students in various educational settings, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to address the unique needs of each student.
• Support classroom management and assist in the supervision of students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher is a plus.
• Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly with students with special needs.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of an educational team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
