Paraprofessional needed in Wakefield, MA

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Paraprofessional for a position in a school district located in Wakefield for the current and upcoming school year. The Paraprofessional will be responsible for providing services to students with diverse learning needs. Details are provided below. 

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of schools experience highly preferred
• Ability to come onsite, Monday-Friday
• Must pass drug screen and background check upon offer

Job Details:

• Start: Immediate
• Full Time (34 hours/week)
• Caseload: Assisting lead teachers with students in K-12th grade
• Onsite only

Responsibilities:

• assist teachers in managing classrooms by preparing materials, setting up equipment, and maintaining a conducive learning environment
• supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other times as needed, ensuring safety and appropriate behavior
• paraprofessionals provide physical assistance to students with mobility limitations, helping them navigate the school environment safely
