As an essential member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in providing personalized assistance to students, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care, mobility, and communication, as outlined in students' care plans.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to implement instructional activities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students in both classroom and extracurricular settings.
• Monitor and report student progress to the teaching team and parents/guardians.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Previous experience as a CNA or paraprofessional
• Knowledge of and experience working with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the individualized needs of students.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting student success.
