Onsite Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is hiring in Bessemer, AL! ProCare Therapy has an open contract position for a Special Education Teacher for this current academic term! We have had a great experience with this school district, and you will too. The opening will be a quick interview to hire process involving virtual interviews followed by an offer.

A full contract for the school year will be awarded to the right candidate! The position consists of:

• Starting March 29, 2024 - May 24, 2024
  • Renewal extension for 2024-2025 school year is currently being finalized
• High school caseload 
  • Self-contained setting
  • 19 students with academic challenges
• General duties including 
  • Classroom management
  • Develop and implement lesson plans 
  • Report Writing 
  • Consult with families and administrative staff
•  Full-Time; 37.5 hours/weekly
  • School hours are from 7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Must have active AL Special Education Teaching license for Grades 9-12
• Previous school experience is preferred but not required
