Occupational Therapist Opening in Elgin, IL

ProCare Therapy has teamed up with a school district in Elgin, Illinois that is looking for an Occupational Therapist with schools experience to join their team for the rest of the school year. This is a full time position and the OT will serve 2-3 schools on average, with a caseload size of about 50 students. The ages range from 3 to 18. The district will be actively interviewing soon over Zoom, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Complete OT evaluations
• Create IEP plans for students based on individual goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques
• Monitor students' progress and update notes as required
• Participate in IEP meetings and give recommendations and trainings as needed to parents

Requirements:

• Master's Degree
• Active IL OT license
• Prior experience working in schools is required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
