Occupational Therapist Needed in the Cardiff, CA Area

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapy services to individuals in need. This position is specifically for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, with 7/4 off. Most sites operate from 8:00 AM to 12:25 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' occupational therapy needs
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual goals and objectives
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist preferred
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, theories, and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
