Now Hiring - School Psychologist in Lafayette, LA

There is a contracted opening for a Special Education Teacher with ProCare Therapy in Lafayette, Louisiana for the remainder of the 2023/24 school year. ProCare is looking for reliable and committed professionals to fill this role.


Only onsite professionals will be considered at this time. 


Caseload:

• Kinder - 12th grade
• Onsite only
• Conducting Gifted tests and writing evaluations
  • Common Tests:
  • Kaufman Brief Intelligence Test
  • Naglieri Nonverbal Ability
  • Wechsler Intelligence Scale
• Support in behavior plans and interventions
• 37.5hrs/week
• Pay starting at $38/hr+ and increasing based on experience 

 

Requirements:

• Active Louisiana licensure as a School Psychologist
• Past experience with school aged patients is sought but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• 2 manager references

As the school's psychologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and providing services to students who are experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional needs. You will collaborate with school staff and parents to develop interventions and provide ongoing support to students in need.
