Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 hours per day
Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a short-term contract position in Berkeley, CA. This role involves providing one-on-one medical support to a medically fragile high school student during the specified contract period.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care and support to a medically fragile high school student
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor student's health condition and respond to medical emergencies
- Communicate effectively with the student, family, school staff, and healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate documentation of medical interventions and student health status
Qualifications:
- Valid California LVN license
- Experience working with medically fragile individuals preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Contract Details:
