Job Description:
 As a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) with ProCare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication for students in a school setting. Working collaboratively with educators and other professionals, you will contribute to creating an inclusive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and various school activities.

Facilitating communication between students, educators, and other school staff.

Collaborating with the educational team to ensure the inclusion and success of students with hearing impairments.

Adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality in all interpreting assignments.

Supporting individualized learning plans for students with hearing-related needs.

Participating in professional development and training opportunities as needed.

Requirements:
-
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).

EIPA certification with a score of 3.5 or higher.

RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification.

NIC (National Interpreter Certification) certification.
-
Previous experience in a school or educational setting is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
