Position: School Paraprofessionals/Teacher Assistants
Location: Palos Park, IL
Hours: Full-Time (30-35 hours per week)
Caseload: K-5th grade students in general and special education populations
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing educational programs and activities
- Provide support to students in various grade levels, including both general education and special education populations
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Help with classroom management and organization
Requirements:
- Valid PEL (Paraprofessional Educator License) and all Illinois state school requirements
- Prior school experience is ideal but not required
- Passionate about working with students and making a difference in their lives
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
