We're currently searching for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Spanaway, WA. Here's a detailed overview:

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Spanaway, WA Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized, one-on-one care to a student with specific medical needs, including seizure management and frequent use of Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS)
• Administering fluids and feeding as required, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration throughout the day
• Accompanying the student on bus rides to and from school, ensuring their safety and comfort during transportation
• Collaborating with school staff and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Documenting observations, interventions, and any changes in the student's condition in accordance with school and medical protocols
• Participating in meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and procedures for student care

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Washington
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities or complex medical needs preferred
• Familiarity with seizure management techniques and Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) devices advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Willingness to undergo additional training as needed to support the student's specific healthcare needs
