Middle School Math Teacher Near Soperton, GA

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to join our team in Soperton, GA. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting student engagement and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction to high school students in a variety of courses, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learners and promote student understanding and mastery of math concepts.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying levels of math proficiency and learning styles.
• Use data to inform instructional decisions and adjust instruction to promote student growth and achievement.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that values student voice and collaboration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and align curriculum and assessments to state and national standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in math instruction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Math Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Georgia state teaching certification in Math Education or eligibility for certification is required.
• Strong content knowledge in math and experience teaching a variety of Middle school math courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting student growth and success.
