Math and English Language Arts Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is hiring in Philadelphia, PA! ProCare Therapy has an open contract position for Special Education Teachers for this school year! We have had a great experience with this school district, and you will too. The opening will be a quick interview to hire process involving virtual interviews followed by an offer.

A full contract for the school year will be awarded to the right candidate! The position consists of:

• Starting April 29, 2024 - June 14, 2024
  • Renewal extension for 2024-2025 academic year is currently being finalized
• Middle school caseload
  • 6th grade
  • Co-teaching setting with 2 additional teachers
  • 10 students on IEP, 1 on 504 plan
• Full-time
• General duties include the following:
  • Develop lesson plans and implement instruction
  • Complete progress towards IEP objectives
  • Consult with staff
• Director of Special Education program will manage paperwork duties

Qualifications:

• Must have active PA Special Education Teacher with Math/ELA, Grade 6 Endorsements
• Must have active PA Clearances or willing to obtain 
• Previous school experience is preferred but not required
