LPN Job Opening - Marlborough, Connecticut

ProCare Therapy has partnered up with a school district in Marlborough, CT that is looking for an LPN for the rest of the 23/24 school year. Please read through the details and requirements to see if this position will be a good fit for you. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• LPN license in the state of CT
• Active First Aid/CPR certifications.
• School or pediatric experience required. 

Compensation:

• Starting at 35 per hour based on experience

Job Details:

• 1:1
• Full time 40 hours
• ASAP till end of the year 
• 6 weeks ESY
• Must have experience with VNS (Vagus Nerve Stimulator)
• Supporting during transportation and school hours. The pick-up time is scheduled for 7:10 am, and the nurse will accompany the high school student until returning from transportation by 3:00 pm, so an 8 hour day M-F. The student utilizes a wheelchair and has limited mobility, along with a seizure disorder managed with a Vagus Nerve Stimulator. The nurse will be responsible for administering medication as per the seizure action plan, including the use of the VNS magnet when necessary.
