Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to join our team in Yuba City, CA. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare services to students in a school setting. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $33 per hour or more, depending on your experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized healthcare procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and assess students' health conditions and respond to their medical needs promptly and appropriately.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of students' health-related information.
- Provide health education to students, families, and staff on topics such as medication management, chronic condition management, and hygiene practices.
- Assist with health screenings and assessments as needed.
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing practice and ensure compliance with state and school district policies.
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of California.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or school setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
