Job Description: Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in providing essential support to students with physical therapy needs in Wayland, MA. As a valued member of our therapy team, you will play a vital role in assisting Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality services to students.
- Part Time (5 hours/week)

- *:00am-11:30am | Thursdays and Fridays
A Day in the Life as a School-Based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide direct therapy services, assist with assessments, and implement individualized treatment plans. You will collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into students' educational activities and promote independence and functional skills.
Qualifications to be a School-Based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program or related field
- Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Experience working with children with diverse needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and adapt interventions to meet students' individual needs
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute preliminary call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute virtual interview conducted directly with the school district.
- Offers are typically extended within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
