As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, providing individualized instruction and support to help them reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction to students, adapting teaching methods to meet their unique learning styles
• Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including parents, teachers, and support staff, to ensure the success of each student
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
