Job Description: ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work with students in Burlington, VT. In this contract position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with school staff and provide valuable support to students with behavioral needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or licensed clinician
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges, including reinforcement of positive behaviors and implementation of strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress towards behavioral goals, providing regular updates to the educational team
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to develop and implement strategies for promoting positive behavior and academic success
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in behavior management techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
