Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations under the guidance of the special education team.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to support student progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting, is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student success.
• Ability to pass background check and meet any additional requirements set by the school district.
