Job Description: ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide therapeutic services to students in Mill Valley, CA. In this contract position, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives by addressing their emotional and behavioral needs within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services to students with a focus on addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need, collaborating with school staff and families to develop treatment plans
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to support students in developing coping skills, improving self-esteem, and managing stressors
  • Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to support students' academic success and social-emotional development
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with professional and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California
  • Previous experience providing therapy services to children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
