Job Description:
As a Paraprofessional contracted through ProCare Therapy at this school, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. Responsibilities include:
- Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering instruction, providing one-on-one support, and aiding with classroom management.
- Student Assistance: Work closely with students, including those with special needs, following IEPs and ensuring their academic and social success.
- Behavioral Support: Foster a positive learning environment by promoting positive behavior and conflict resolution.
- Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to address individual student needs and contribute to their overall development.
Pay Rate: $25 per hour
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in an educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to engage in professional development and ongoing learning.
