Instructional Assistants Needed In Carmel, IN

ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and passionate Instructional Assistants to join our team in Carmel, IN. As an Instructional Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to provide support to students in various classroom settings. Your role will involve assisting students with academic tasks, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students with educational activities under the guidance of teachers and special education professionals.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement instructional strategies and accommodations outlined in students' IEPs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other members of the educational team.
• Help to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet other employment requirements.
