Instructional Aide/Paraprofessional needed in Rockville, MD

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide support in implementing lesson plans.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide support for students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• CPI training is preferred but not required 
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
• Patience, flexibility, and a passion for supporting student success.
