School-Based Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Pasadena, CA
Employment Type: Contracted by Procare Therapy for the 2023-2024 School Year
Work Schedule: Full-time (30-35 hours/week), Hourly
Caseload: 1:1 with a High School Student

Procare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. This position is based in Pasadena, CA, and involves working with a high school student in a 1:1 setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide health services and support to a high school student on a 1:1 basis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess the student's health needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

• Updated resume/CV
• Valid LVN license in the state of California
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Contract Details:

• Employment through Procare Therapy.
• Hourly pay.
• Full-time position (30-35 hours/week).
• Contracted for the duration of the 2023-2024 school year.
