Hiring Special Education Teacher (Mod/Severe) in Gardner, MA

For the remainder of the 2023/24SY, ProCare has an opening for a SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER in Gardner, MA. This is a contracted position through the remainder of the year with the option for renewal at the end of a successful contract.



Any applicants must have an active teacher's certification and be capable of teaching elementary students.

Job Details:

• K-5th 
• Caseload
  • Substantially sperate classroom
  • Moderate and Severe Disabilities
  • 1st, and 2nd grade
• 30 minute duty-free lunch
• Full Time (36hrs/week)
• In person
• Only one school site per assignment 

Qualifications: 

• Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Special Education or a related field.
• Hold a valid Special Education teaching certificate from the Massachusetts Department of Education.
• Must have active teaching licensure
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening 
• Able to do school fingerprints and ProCare Fingerprints
