Hiring Remote School Psychologists in New Mexico - Now & 24/25 SY

School Psychologist
Procare therapy is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team in New Mexico. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional well-being of students. This position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Full or Part-Time: up to 40 hours/week
• Onsite and Remote
• Start: ASAP- EOSY, 24/25 SY
• Caseload: 
  • K-12
  • Typically 10-20 students

Qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• NM License for School Psychology
• PED cert through NM Department of Education by start date (district is willing to wait for this if you already have NM state license as can work while in pending status) 
• Strong assessment and counseling skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff

Hourly Pay Rate:

• $45 - mid to upper $50s/hr 
  • Specific hourly pay rate is negotiable. Will be discussed further during hiring process, dependent on experience and background
