Gifted & Talented Teacher

Description: We are seeking passionate and dedicated general education teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Emporia, KS. These are full-time, onsite positions with the following details:

• Grade Levels: K-12
• Caseload Size: 24 Students
• Create and Evaluate programming for Gifted and Talented
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Onsite: Multiple Locations (mileage reimbursement)

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging interdisciplinary units of study
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and parents
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
• Valid Teaching Certificate for applicable grade level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to creating a positive learning environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team
