Full Time TVI Needed near Scranton, PA

Job Title: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)

Location: Kingston, PA

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
• Collaborate with teachers and professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Teach braille, orientation and mobility skills, and adaptive technology.
• Advocate for students' needs within the school community.
• Collaborate with parents and stakeholders to support students' development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid certification as a TVI in Pennsylvania.
• Experience working with students with visual impairments.
• Proficiency in braille and adaptive technology.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
