Full-Time Special Education Teacher

ProCare Therapy is hiring in Asheville, AL! ProCare Therapy has an open contract position for a Special Education Teacher for this school year! We have had a great experience with this school district, and you will too. The opening will be a quick interview to hire process involving virtual interviews followed by an offer.

A full contract for the school year will be awarded to the right candidate! The position consists of:

• Starting March 29, 2024 - May 24, 2024
  • Renewal extension for 2024-2025 school year is currently being finalized
• Middle school caseload 
  • Self-contained setting
  • Moderate-severe
  • 12 students
    • 10 students for case management
• General duties including 
  • Classroom management
  • Develop and implement lesson plans 
  • Report Writing 
  • Consult with families and administrative staff
•  Full-Time; 40 hours/weekly
• There will be three paraprofessionals in classroom for support

Qualifications:

• Must have active AL Special Education Teaching license for Grades 6-8, Moderate-Severe Endorsements
• Previous school experience is preferred but not required
