Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Washington, D.C.

Position Overview: Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt teaching strategies for students with disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
• Assess student progress and communicate with parents/guardians

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education in Washington, D.C. and MD
• Previous experience in special education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
