Job Title: Full-Time Special Education Teacher

Location: Sacramento, CA

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Special Education Teacher to join our team in Sacramento, CA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to ensure the holistic development of students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and academic achievement.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid California teaching credential in Special Education.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
• Strong understanding of various disabilities and evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
