Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time School Paraprofessional in St. Helena, CA. As a paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational experience of our students and assisting our teaching staff in providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and instructional activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with academics or behavior management.
• Assist in the supervision of students during various activities, including classroom sessions, lunchtime, and field trips.
• Support students with special needs by implementing accommodations and modifications outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or coursework in education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational or childcare setting, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and socially.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to the evolving needs of the classroom environment.
