School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
ProCare Therapy is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Chalmette, LA for the school year.
Position Details:
- Academic Year: 2023-2024
- Caseload: 3-20 year olds with a range of disabilitiesÂ
- Hourly Compensation: $45-$50+
- Preferred Experience: Prior school exposure is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Intervention: Evaluate clients' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve their performance in daily activities.
- Environmental Adaptations: Recommend and implement modifications to clients' environments to enhance independence and safety.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Work with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to set goals, provide education, and monitor progress through detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- NBCOT licensing
- Active State Licensure(s)
