Full-Time Paraprofessional Contract Job - Woodinville, Washington

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual near Woodinville, Washington to join our team as a 1 on 1 School Special Needs Paraprofessional or classroom aide for the remainder of the academic year. With good performance there is a strong chance of a renewal contract into the next school year. 

Hours for the position vary between 32.5 - 40 hours per week. Students that qualify for transportation services will require an aide be with them during the morning bus route. 

Applicants with past experience in home health care, clinical or center based learning, ABA Therapy and mental and or physical disability personal care support are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering instruction and providing individualized attention to students
• Monitor overall progress of social/emotional/behavioral students
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support students in completing assignments and engaging in classroom activities
• Supervise student behavior and ensure a safe and respectful classroom environment
• Provide feedback to the teacher regarding student progress and needs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the classroom

Compensation:

• $27.50+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Potential for summer work and continued employment in the next school year
• Hours are guaranteed as long as school is in session
